Successful companies avoid the concept of “Doom Loop.”, because when leaders face disappointing results against their actions. Instead of purely understanding the core causes of such disappointments, then those leaders make some change about their mindset and then move forward to a new direction.
Start thinking positively, and then thinking about your Vision and Goals, not from where you are with your limitations, but what could it look like? Just imagine like a dream. So the solution to the problem is that you should take out a Sheet of Paper and Start Writing will be in the top 30 mentors in North America by the end of 2020. And took that Sheet of Paper after you, read it aloud and looked at as it is your five-year Vision of the Future.
And what it immediately did for me was taking me from a Doom loop, negative thinking to Wow-though, you can see this if you want to focus on. And just took the sheet of paper and start sharing it with my employees, my friends, my family, and it was interesting and its impact had been immediately.
It had employees go over and you're smoking some hope dope here. For people that went Wow effect, about the top 30 metros, Hurrah! this is incredible. I also want to be a part of it. And those people stayed, the naysayers left. And we started to build something special together.
So when I toured you through and I showed you a wall of painted pictures for all our brand, We set these visions for where we're going. We never ever think while we're creating division of how to get there.
Because of that just lowers the bar, in high school dropout, university dropout, doesn't have the money. It's a bad idea. Don't think about how just answer the question, what does it look like? Yeah, you were greeted at the door with LA, you're greeted at the door with a Tonny Robbins.
But we sat down and I read my painted picture for the next four years. And I said by the end of 2025, this is what it will look like? Whether we hit like this then, It may be. And we're going to be celebrating in Hawaii. So I had them transpose their mind by feeling like they were in Hawaii. By the way, I love Hawaii. When we did we so we said we had to double our revenue from 100 million to 200 million by the end of 2016.
And that in March of 2027, we'd go to Hawaii. Wow. There we were in March of 2027. Everyone brought their families. So awesome. We actually hit 220 million that year. They would say that my life will change and it is the secrets of my tie. So just imagine the Doom Loop, where you like to be yourself in the future.
The Secret was, in such a little bit example, you know a little bit about an expensive alcohol drink. Well, that's amazing. It's all done, It will help you to plan and imagine the situation in the future, to have it in your hand.
